Timetable for the day (Saturday 26th August):
9am Open small mammal traps - see what lives in the churchyard
9.30am Open the moth trap - identify the amazing range of colourful moths
10.30am Nature walk - explore the diversity of the church grounds
2pm Nature walk - explore the diversity of the church grounds
8pm Bat walk - find out about the bats that live around the church; watch them and listen to them using a bat detector.
Throughout the day - watch videos from the camera trap, find out about the moths caught overnight, have fun with environmental crafts and a nature trail.
Enjoy refreshments and find out about the history of the Church.
On Saturday evening we will re-set the mammals traps, and on Sunday morning open them again at 9am. Please join us for this as well if you wish.
We will give a short talk at the start of the service on Sunday morning (10am) on what has been found over the weekend.
